History of Tossa

Imagine a place where you can travel back in time to the scenes of the past ...

Tossa is a real open-air museum. Its prehistoric vestiges give way to a Roman Túrissa, a medieval Tursa and a modern Tossa first turned into a refuge of artists and intellectuals and later in generous host of tourists and visitors.

Imagine feeling in nature and being able to enjoy the silence, discover places of Tossa that you would never have imagined to find here, spaces of great beauty with all the smell of nature: pine, rosemary, thyme ...

Imagine the smell of the sea and enjoy watching one of the most spectacular landscapes of the Costa Brava, a succession of cliffs and viewpoints surrounded by greens and blues, a whim of shapes that play with the sea drawing in and out, beaches and coves.
